Love is in the Air - LCC

My first return effort for Let's Craft and Create. Love is in the Air competition click here to join the fun.
I used a paper purchased a few years ago from Kaisercraft. The house die cuts are a no brand product found on AliExpress. The sentiment is unusual and touching I feel.

Retail Specials

The Mangawhai Museum has one of my card stands in the Museum Shop which as a seasonal summer trade. The cards I make are " Beachy" or " Kiwi " and are identified as from the area. They have been great fun to make so now I can gear up my production with more free time.

Mom's Birthday

Back on the crafting tools after a 7 month break working, travelling and catching up on the garden. I'll be lucky if I have any audience left but here goes. This card is for my Mother who turns 93 next month. As she is not all that fond of being reminded of her age I have not included it on the front of the card. Now that I have so many more cutting dies it was great to layer them up!! The sun was just getting through the clouds and the corrugated clear roof so there are some shadows on the picture. A lesson for next time.

Forever Blowing Bubbles

This was a fun project for CCC Digi as the theme was a song or Nursery Rhyme. My song was " I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles , pretty bubbles in the air " . The paper matched the theme and had some copper highlights so I used some more copper card and embellishments including her copper earrings. Good fun with a bit of humour.

Thanks to sponsor Pink Gem Designs for the cute image.

Background printing

I used an all over leaf stamp in two colours to meet the hand made background challenge this month at Lets Craft and Create. The shape of the leaves was similar to a tree metal die in my tool kit so that matched in well. The fallen leaves were suitable for a Sympathy card and this became the sentiment.
